How to apply for a grant
This page is for applications for the following grants
Other funding programmes have different application processes. See our What we fund page for more information.
We want to support high quality work that will help us meet our funding priorities. We hope the following information will help you understand our application process and the information we need to consider your grant request.
Before you apply
How the application process works
To apply for a City Bridge Trust grant you will need to complete our Eligibility Quiz and then an online application form .
Details of how to do complete the application form, the documents to include, and the link to our Eligibility Quiz are given on our Apply online page.
Once the City Bridge Trust has received your online application and all supporting documents it will be passed to one of the Trust’s Funding Managers for assessment. As part of this process a Funding Manager may contact you for more information. A Funding Manager may also arrange to visit your organisation as part of the assessment process. Once a full assessment has been completed your request will be referred to the (BHE) Committee for a decision.
The BHE Committee meets regularly and applications are accepted throughout the year for all of our current funding programmes. All applicants are advised in writing of the BHE Committee’s decision on their application within a few days of the relevant Committee meeting.
Most of our funding programmes are continuously open, with no deadline for application. Where programmes have specific deadlines, these will be clearly stated.
Application turnaround time is six months. However this may vary throughout the year according to application volumes and staff capacity.
City Bridge Trust has a zero tolerance towards fraud and will pursue prosecutions in every instance.
