London Festival of Ideas: Your vision for strong communities

Could you host an event, an activity or a celebration that explores what makes strong communities in London?

It’s time to create a better London, one that’s more equal, more connected and where everyone can take part.

City Bridge Trust is one of a range of partners contributing to a London Festival of Ideas, exploring our individual and collective visions and plans for strong communities in London.

Everyone is invited to take part in the festival, which will run between Monday 28 June and Friday 23 July 2021.

The festival is an opportunity to bring together London’s community and faith organisations, its activists and artists, its businesses and universities, as well as the individuals and networks exploring new ways of caring for each other and the people around them.

The festival will be made up of events, conversations, activities and celebrations exploring how you view strong communities, what a community hub means to Londoners and how we can work together.

Small grants will be available to informal groups or organisations with a turnover of less than £100k to host activity during the festival.

If you would like to host an event, activity, moment or celebration as part of the festival you can express your interest through this form. You don’t need a detailed plan at this stage, but getting a sense of who is interested will help develop the programme.
