Grow Well, Feel Well

Join Capital Growth on Wednesday 5 July at Cecil Sharp House for Grow Well, Feel Well – an afternoon all about health, well-being and growing food in the city.

From mindfulness and garden design, to growing nutrient rich plants and therapeutic horticulture, the afternoon will include workshops and speakers on a variety of topics, plus time to enjoy the onsite permaculture garden and meet other attendees.

As London’s largest food growing network, with over 2,000 gardens throughout the city, Capital Growth offers in-kind support to people who grow their own food in London, including providing access to discounted training, networking events, support with growing to sell and discounts on equipment.

Capital Growth is a London Food Link project, supported by the Mayor of London and City Bridge Trust. It is championed by the Chair of the London Food Board, Rosie Boycott, and supported the creation of 2012 new community food growing spaces across London by the end of 2012. It is a project of Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming and received a grant from the Trust of £144,800 in 2015 under our Improving London’s Environment programme.
