Wave 2 of Funding from London Community Response Fund open

With our partner funders, we recognise that the covid-19 outbreak is an exceptional event that will have an impact on civil society groups and we want to offer reassurance that we stand with the sector during this time. In response, a new fund has been set up, the London Community Response Fund (LCRF).

This fund has been established by the City of London Corporation through its charity, Bridge House Estates. City Bridge Trust (the funding arm of Bridge House Estates) and the Greater London Authority, among other funders, have contributed to this Fund.  If you wish to apply for a grant, please click here: https://londoncommunityresponsefund.org.uk/

We are truly encouraged by the continued and speedy increase in both Funders and donations to the LCRF. If you are interested in donating to the LCRF, please contact London Funders here:  https://londonfunders.org.uk/our-blog/new-emergency-support-fund-announced-help-community-and-voluntary-organisations.

As a committed and responsive funder, we at the City Bridge Trust are working hard to ensure we award grants and release payments as quickly as possible. Given this, and with the coming launch of the LCRF, we have temporarily decided to close some of our programmes to new applicants. The exceptions will be for those seeking continuation funding of an existing CBT grantSmall Grants and Stepping Stones grants.

We will review this pause soon and will consider how and when the most appropriate time is to re-open.

If you have any more questions, please check our FAQs here.

We wish everyone the best at this difficult time.
