City Bridge Trust: current funding programmes

When Covid-19 hit London, the City Bridge Trust team focussed on getting the collaborative London Community Response up and running, in order to supply rapid emergency funding in support of civil society across the capital.

We continued to support our funded organisations and our Small Grants programme, but closed down much of our Bridging Divides pipeline to new applications.

Learning lessons from Covid-19 and the emerging societal needs it exposed, we are reviewing our Bridging Divides funding strategy and aim to reopen this funding programme later this year. We can confirm that despite the significant rounds of emergency funding released over the last year, there will be no reduction in our overall grants spend over the coming year.

Meanwhile, we are reopening our Access Audits and Eco-audits to new applicants, and have extended our Small Grants funding from three years to a maximum of five years.

Our Stepping Stones Fund and Continuation Funding for previously funded organisations remain open.

Funding will be steadily increasing over the coming months, along with our ongoing commitment to being a flexible and trusting funder.

City Bridge Trust continues to stand with the sector, supporting London’s civil society and helping to create a city where all individuals and communities can thrive, especially those experiencing disadvantage and marginalisation.
