Strategic Initiatives

In recognition of our unique role as a substantial and independent funder, the Grants’ Committee agreed to set aside 5% of the grants budget each year for strategic purposes. These initiatives go beyond the boundaries of traditional, reactive grant-making and include action research projects, feasibility studies and conferences, many of which have a London-wide and, in some cases, national benefit. Currently we are running several substantial initiatives, all researched, initiated and devised within the team in partnership with the Voluntary and Community Sector and other independent funders.
