Strategic initiatives
The Trust’s Grants Committee has agreed to set aside 5% of our
budget each year for initiatives which go beyond traditional
grant-making. These include research, feasibility studies and
conferences, and are often undertaken in partnership with other
organisations.
Reducing organisations' carbon footprint
The Trust is committed to helping the Third
Sector reduce its carbon footprint and become more
environmentally aware.
This project is funding a series of eco-audits, looking at
individual charities' energy use and waste, and providing
practical advice on how to reduce these.
