Making the money go further

Following City Bridge Trust’s conference Making the Money Go Further Dr Diana Leat shares her personal reflections on social investment. Her report examines the range of social investment models currently available, discusses the challenging funding climate, and highlights what further work is required to develop the social finance market place. The report makes clear that social investment is still a very new approach, and that it has the potential to complement (but not replace) more traditional philanthropic giving.
