NSPCC and Refuge Report
Published: 22 November 2011
On 22 November the Trust hosted a morning conference at the
Barbican Centre to share the findings of new research from the
NSPCC and Refuge on meeting the needs of children living with
domestic violence in London.
The conference shared key findings from the research and debated
how services can work together better to improve outcomes for
children and young people whilst ensuring their voices are heard
and acted upon. The event was chaired by Zoe Williams of the
Guardian, with a keynote speech by Lynne Featherstone MP, Minister
for Equalities.
A prize draw was held to win an iPod, entered by completing the
event's Evaluation Form. This was won by Katie Higinson from BBC
Children in Need.
