Lord Mayor's Show 2011

On Saturday 12th November, the Trust took part in the Lord Mayor’s Show in partnership with Heart n Soul, one of the UK’s leading creative companies with learning disabilities at its heart.

The entry consisted of an open topped double-decker bus, customised with our banners. On the top deck there were a range of musical performances and DJing.

Alongside the double-decker bus Heart n Soul used their accessible minibus to carry a large inflatable octopus, which was very popular with the thousands of people lining the streets.

Over 30 participants performed dance routines alongside the bus in colourful costumes which were themed around water and the sea.
